Flat ironing

I was wondering how long curlies normally keep their hair straight when flat ironing, basically how soon do you wash your hair after straightening.

For me whenever I would flat-iron my hair (sadly I had to do it this week) I would wash it at the end of the week. So if I got it done on Friday I would wash it the next Saturday or Sunday.

I would flat iron my hair and leave it for a 2 weeks. The first week I would wrap it each night with a satin scarf and lightly moisturize every other day with coconut oil. By the 2nd week I wore my hair in ponytails and buns till it was was day on Sunday! Hope I helped:)
