The secret to humidity proof hair
I usually wear my hear in twists, a bun or some kind of random flat twist style but when I’m going somewhere special I like to wear a chunky bantu knot out.
For the ladies that wear twist/bantu knot out’s how do you maintain the shape/curls without the frizz caused by humidity?
Years ago I used to use jam gel ( the pink springy one) for knot outs and it was great for maybe a day or so but use too much and would become greasy and melt in the heat…yuk!
Is there a product out there that is able to deal with me breaking it down on the dance floor?

i like to use shea butter and coconut oil. coconut oil is a natural anti-humectant. i live in florida is humid the overwhelmingly majority of the year and that has helped tremendously. also, if you moisturize ur hair with water before going out into humidity than your hair won't shrink hth

Thank you so much for the tip. I knew someone would come through for me! This is only natural product that I haven't tried yet, is this ok if you suspect that your hair may be protien sensitive?
