Re: The Huetiful Hair Steamer
I have one. Bought it from the Huetiful store on Ebay. It was about 100 dollars. I believe that Huetiful has a website where they can be purchased. I love it! The only thing that I do not like is that the hood design doesn't let the steam get all that way to your kitchen. I have to contort my head and body to get it steamed.

I think it's worth it if you have a problem with dry hair. My daughter's hair was extremely dry....when I would condition, moisturize and seal her hair, it looked good for a few hours. After that, her hair just sucked it up and looked so dry. So I thought this would help for her and it does. We no longer have the dryness issue with her hair. I love if for me as well. It makes both our heads easier to detangle. So for me it was worth it.

The stand up ones are also the same way.. You know what I don't even know how to contort my head anyway because I can't..
I got one but its not like this mine is stand up I got it on sale at Salons R Us for $90 or more can't remember but the shipping was free and I used coupon code.. They have so many sales last sale the top of the steamer was scratched and it was like $83.00 and with that code free shipping.. Nothing was wrong with the dryer.. For me I didn't see results automatically but as I used it it really helps with my detangling as Niqui36 mentioned b4.. To me it is def worth it..

I definitely plan on getting one, probably in January! I've watched a few Youtube reviews (mainly Taren916's review) and everyone seemed to like the results of it. And plus I need something that will enhance my deep conditioning! I'm going to give it a shot!

Re: The Huetiful Hair Steamer
I bought the hair steamer through Heutiful's facebook page. I LOVE it. I'm even using it to DC my hair as I have in extension twists for the winter.
I found it to be better for DC than my hooded dryer. After I use it, my curls (without extensions) seem to be more plump and hang better. It' doesn't get to the kitchen so you have to position yourself to steam your entire head. It gets super hot and drippy so be sure to keep a towel nearby. Just a word of warning: When I first got it, I used spring and tap water and my scalp itched like crazy until I switched to distilled water.

I just ordered a hair steamer today. It's not a Heutiful, I think it is called PRO-150. It is the stand up kind. Heard great things about it and I can't wait for it to arrive.

Re: The Huetiful Hair Steamer
I have the huetiful. I got it in September and have used it every week since, so I think it's paid for itself. That said, I honestly don't know that it's much different than my hooded dryer with a plastic cap on. It does make detangling easier and my hair feels good, but I don't know if the hype of those youtube videos is that accurate. The steamer is helpful for sure, but if you're specifically putting money aside for it, go try one at a salon first. There may be less expensive ways to get the same results.

Re: The Huetiful Hair Steamer
This is my opinion. I bought a Pro 1037A steamer from Salons R Us in August. It has wheels for mobility and a really large dome. It was relaxing sitting under the warm steam, but I didn't see the difference between the steamer and a plastic cap. I had softness using both methods and one was not better than the other. To be honest, some of the Youtube bloggers were overselling it because these companies know that some of these bloggers have a mass following so marketing is easy. Like it was suggested, go to a salon and try the steamer before purchasing it. Who knows, you may have a different experience. My $130 steamer has been sitting in my garage, (in mint condition), since August.

Re: The Huetiful Hair Steamer
I bought mine from the website last spring....I probably used it 4 or 5 times...I'm not too excited about it!!! The cord is too short, the condisation from the steam falls onto my scalp and burns my head, the hood is too small for my hair so most of my hair is hanging out of it!!

I HAVE A HOODED DRYER, IF I WERE TO USE THAT, WHAT WOULD I DO TO PREPARE? (JUST WASH IT, ADD CONDITIONER, & WHAT ELSE????)
Re: The Huetiful Hair Steamer
THANKS FOR THE TRUTH LADIES...
I'VE DECIDED TO STICK TO MY PLASTIC CAP, UNLESS SOMEONE EXPLAINS TO ME HOW TO USE MY HOODED DYER THE SAME WAY.=)

You would probably be better off sitting in the steam soom at a gym...it will give you the added benefits of detoxing your entire body...

I have a 1 year old and really can't make it to the gym. Maybe I'm better off in my bathroom with the shower running on hot lol...
