Re: :: Lynnieluve ::
Oh ok. Seems easy enough. I just watched a video for a 3 strand twist. Looked pretty cool. I can't wait til I can figure out ways to pin my twists up so that I can create different looks with them. I may just need to buy a couple scarves.
Re: :: Lynnieluve ::
I need to get some more scarves too. They can spice up some 4 or 5 day fuzzy twist.

Let me get back with you on that one. I know it is great to seal with but I will have to see how it works as a styler.

I saw that you posted you were gona rollerset ur hair for a trim...The night before I straightened my hair for a trim I applied coconut/olive oil then put a baggy over my head. I paid special attention to the ends of my hair...when the stylist went to cut my hair I asked if my tips were very bad and she said no...I think the baggying with the coco/olive oil helped in moisturizing my ends so they didnt look dry...I think some ppl confuse dry ends with damaged so they chop it all off. Just a suggestion HTH

@ Sweet and KNH - I was saying the picture didnt do any justice to how cute it was. I love it!! It's starting to "hang" now. My twist outs in pass months were always in a fro shape but not anymore!!
Now that must mean growth....

(Week 9 Day 2)
I didnt baggy last night because I am not sure exactly how you do but I did mist Roxie with my homemade spritz and seal with the new shea butter mix. I am happy to report the Roxie is back to normal!!
She loves this new shea butter mix. She is soft and moisturized!
So today I just put on a headband and out the door I went. I am being lazy so I will post the pics tomorrow. It's really nothing to see but it may help someone else.
Later curlies!!

Baggying is very effective and moisturizing. The only downside to it is that it's noisy LOL. I did it for the first couple of weeks after my bc, because my hair was very dry. I followed Little Golden Lamb's instructions, she's very informative I love her blog. It definitely did work, I want to return to it when the weather warms up. You don't necessarily have to go through her whole routine either. Sometimes I only misted my hair. Hope it helps, she explains it far better than I can.
Re: :: Lynnieluve ::
Glad Roxie is back to herself.
LL - you will be happy to know that I'm making a phone call today to schedule by BC. I'm taking the salon route for this first one.

(Week 9 Day 3)
This morning I moisturized Roxie with my homemade spritz and the new shea butter mix. I also oil my scalp with the castor oil mix. It looks like oiling/greasing my scalp 3 times a week will be good for me. My twist are start to look a little fuzzy but I am okay with that. Here are the pics I promised from yesterday. It's nothing special. I put a Goody headband on and that's it.
That's not anything on my lip. I took the pic in a dirty mirror.
That's all for now! Later curlies!!
