In Need of a Big Sister

Post by msholt88 on 6th February 2011, 8:19 am

In the past when I decided to go natural I did it all alone and without a clue of what I was doing. I fumbled around until I got frustrated and slapped a relaxer in my head. This time I want to stay natural and I want to have the right support so I can feel more confident with my hair choices. It would be really nice to have someone to share hair experiences with and to gain insight from.

I've been through quite a few ups and downs myself. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Take care and good luck.

Thanks I am definitely excited about going natural this time I already did the bc and I'm trying to learn what exactly my hair needs. I did notice a problem with dryness and softness. So I've added oils to my hair to help with dryness but as for the softness I'm not sure what to do may be I should start to dc? What do you suggest?

I wash with sampoo once a week or so depending on build up and I co-wash or water only wash inbetween shampooing. Is that good or bad?

That's good but do you do a deep conditioning?
