The title says it all.
I'm about to finish Going Bovine by Libba Bray.
It's a fictional story of a teenage boy suffering with the human form of mad cow disease, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, and his quest to save the earth and his life. So far so good, tons of adventure, an immortal talking yard gnome, and other matters of teenage insanity.
So what are you reading right now?

I just finished Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey, not a novel (I haven't read a straight novel with no truth to it in a minute!) - wrote about that in its own thread.
Im about to start the Way of the Peacefull Warrior: A Book that Changes Lives by Dan Millman... will also give it its own thread. It's a novel! (I think lol)

Re: Currently Reading
Ok so I am enjoying my Christmas break from school!!!! I graduate next May with my Masters in Social Work (YEAH!!!) But with this free time I am reading The Tipping Point by Maclolmm Gladwell. It is basically talking about society and how things can occur without any issue then at some point it reaches its "tipping point" where its a major epidemic-
For example let's take Tyler Perry (he wasnt referred in the book but this is my example) Initially Tyler Perry was this struggling writer/producer/director with his Madea franchises doing these plays barely making it-but at some point he reached a "tipping point" where he became this big sensation and EVERYBODY knows him adn want to work with him...

Re: Currently Reading
I have a full tens day off of work consumed by sleep, hot chocolate, yummy food, lazing, lounging and READING. This may sound corny and don't laugh at me but I recently watched The Other Boleyn Girl and lately I've been reading a lot of books on Tudor history in Great Britain.
That said, during my wonderful break I finished reading...
The Six Wives of Henry VIII (Alison Weir)
The Other Boleyn Girl (Philippa Gregory)
Anne Boleyn (Elizabeth Norton)
The above books put the movie to deep shame. My current read is The Constant Princess, as I plan on finishing the Tudor Series of books by Philippa Gregory.

I just finished The Penny by Joyce Meyer....it was a great book. Not what I expected at all.
I am a part of a book club at my church and we have read some amazing christian fiction and non fiction books.
Here are a few selections that I absolutely loved...
Redeeming Love-Francine Rivers (fiction)
The Shack-William Young (supposed to be a true story)
The Red Tent- Anita Diamant (fiction)
Journey to the Well-Diana Wallis Taylor (fiction)
Captivating-John and Stasi Eldredge

My book club is reading Say You're One of Them. Picking a short story to read and discuss each month. It was on Oprahs book club list and is excellent so far.
Re: Currently Reading
I'm reading "The Wrong Mother" by Sophie Hannah and "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood. So far so good for both. I'm trying to finish "The Wrong Mother" first since it's a library book, and Atwood's book is on my kindle. I need to get in more reading time than on the trains to and from work.

I finished this book last night. I was amazed by her life story. I didn't remember that she had cancer, nor why she and Kareem Abdur Jabar didn't marry. A great read if you want to know more about Foxy Brown BKA Pam Grier.
