Night time routine Empty Night time routine

Post by Imgettingthere 20th January 2011, 5:14 pm

Hey guys,

First and foremost, I BC'd. Well kinda.

As you know I've been transitioning for about 18 months now and recently after washing my hair lets just say my scissors and hair got to know each other! After all that transitioning I basically have a curly bob thats bottom on my ears length. If that makes sense.

Any way I've found that sleeping at ngiht often ruins whatever style my hair is in. Is there another techinque to doing your hair for bed outside of re-twisting it? Doing the pinapple things seems to not be working to well for me.

I know you said the pineapple thing doesn't work for you but did you try smaller sections, like "mini pineapples" lol? This natural does it and it works better on her shorter hair instead of the regular pineapple:

Hope this helps Smile

Yeah that was a main issue with me. I would never get "2nd day hair" from a style. I had to go into a protective style because every night I had to do something unless I wanted to rock a puff. Still in that style. Watching this thread!!

I multi pinapple my WNG's (5 sections) and in the a.m. I still have to spray with water or leave in and shake shake shake.

My twist outs have to be re-twisted at night.

I agree with Curlista, I think the pinapple on twist outs or whatever "outs" (lol) works better with longer hair.

Keep trying mama! Until you find what works...

@CURLISTA

@everyone actually

Last night I tried the mini pinapples and it worked very very well!! My day 2 twist out looks very nice. I'm going to test this out tonight and we'll see how it works.
