Suave vs. Vo5 Empty Suave vs. Vo5

Post by .:Eden:. 4th December 2009, 11:38 pm

I currently use both, but for different reasons. I like Suave's slip better than Vo5. I have a harder time detangling with Vo5, but I prefer its scent (strawberries and cream...yum). Suave coats my hair with less product and faster then Vo5. Suave dries out my hair if I use it as a leave in. Vo5 leaves my hair moisturized. Not sure, but I like both.

What's your take??

I just started using Vo5 to rinse out my henna and its not bad but its not great either! Suave definitely gives better slip without having to use as much. I have the Vo5 calming tea or something like that and its just okay. I really like Suaves Clarifying Conditioner. It always leaves my hair feeling clean without feeling stripped.

i like suave for its slip, light scent (only coconut, the others are too strong for me), detangling...vo5 just seemed "wrong".. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] i wanted it to feel good so bad...its often .69 cent on sale.

oh well, win some lose some

I just used v05 and i do agree with the other posts...now is its no good for detangling but it is a good leave in...Suave Aloe detangles so great and is alot more creamier than V05...i had to kind of mix V05 with something..but the price is right on both

I need to try Vo5 as a leave in, because I know Suave made my hair dry when I used it as a leave in.

I voted Suave; currently using the Pro Humectant and the Pro Sleek. Both are really thick (love it) and great for cowashing/detangling. I also use these as leave-ins. I didn't have a good experience w/the V05 Strawberries & Cream. It left my hair kinda dry and hard (used as a cowash); it think it was the soy protein.

I use VO5 for my cowashes. According to www.tightlycurly.com both are cowashing/rinsing conditioners and not leave-in/combing conditioners. I some Suave, but haven't used it yet. The PJ in me buys VO5 every time its on sales, which is all of the time [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I'm thinking of cutting my use of the VO5 because it has a lot of protein and I think I'm being come sensitive to it since my hair it thickening up after almost 2 years of being nature.
