Mehandi Buyers-Old Henna
Hello all...I am looking to purchase some Jamila Henna from Mehandi.com for my mom. It says 2009 summer crop. Is this okay to use?? Btw...I purchased some henna from this site last summer. I still have it, and it was indeed the summer 2009 crop. On the box it says it expires May 2012 but I am still a little scared to use it. Is it okay to use and even purchase more off. The box has never been opened....

Its safe to use, and should give you good dye release. I've heard of people trying to find the Jamila 2009. Because each crop of henna is different.

i would think it would be fine..and the only thing i guess would happen if it wasnt good was that you wouldn't get as good of a dye release as you would if it were good..but May 2012 is still a long way off.
