find something else to replace your flareups. reading, cleaning, etc. it works.

Congratulations ArHandy!! You can do! Just stay out of the Swap section of the forums.
As for the Hairveda SitriNillah, you're not missing anything, IMO. I have been using it since the first of the year (I only have one used left now) and it's just OK. I hope this helps.

@ lynnieluve, Actually that did help, then I started laughing. I thought to myself, those girls are good. Of course she wouldn't tell me if the stuff was awesome! so that tickled me, that's right say what you have to say to talk someone of the ledge....lol
@ one.tru.luv, believe it or not, I should be studying. Big test tomorrow. It's as if I'm obsessed with all things natural hair. I have left FB, and now I stalk all the hair blogs. But it was so good to be able to run to you guys. There's nothing like accountablility!

Re: PJ Rehab Challenge - Let's do this from 12/25/10 to 3/25/11
Here is my updated list. Green items amounts have changed because I used them. Some items I am just going to give away because after trying them again I still don't like them. When March comes I hope to be down even more. I want to begin formulating my own products (personal and family use only). I am getting to know which ingredients (natural and man-made) work for my hair and skin. It will be more expensive than most of what I buy but hopefully they'll be more of what I like to use and just as high quality as some of the more expensive brands on the market.
Shampoo – I probably won’t buy shampoo for a long time since I use so little. I use more on my foot soaks than my hair.
Conditioners – Didn’t realize how many I had until I listed them. Dwindling
Leave-In
Deep Conditioners
Stylers
Hair Grease - Probably going to either give these away or throw them away. My hair really doesn't like them.
Other - I use some of these in body product preparations so I will repurchase as needed. But I don't have to make anything any time soon.

Re: PJ Rehab Challenge - Let's do this from 12/25/10 to 3/25/11
buy one. the challenge is for products not tools. pj-ism typically applies to hair products. always trying the next conditioner or styler. looking for the best next thing.
besides i just bought one on monday and i love it i just have to part my hair in more sections than what i'm used to with a comb. but i still love it.

Re: PJ Rehab Challenge - Let's do this from 12/25/10 to 3/25/11
Arhandy, Thank you for your encouragement. I didn't realize how hard trying not to be a pj was going to be. I find myself in the store trying to justify a purchase to myself. smdh.
It's like I got a monkey on my back while in the store - yelling "BUY THAT! BUY THAT!" [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] at the top of its lungs. Its crazy, ladies. But I only brought my clarifying shampoo and the pectin I am going to use for my henna this weekend. Its okay. I decided to wait until March to get stuff for formulating my own hair stuff. I have enough oils and butters for my use until then.

Thank you ladies for the encouragement! My list is getting shorter. I was not able to cowash for a week because I did some Miss Jessie video reviews. I missed my hair being twisted for that week. But now I am back in the twists and back to cowashing!
Madeaj, you are too much!

I am sure this was specified before... BUT i forgot... so is it ok if we have other people buy us things as Vday gifts or just because its tuesday gifts??? LMBO
Re: PJ Rehab Challenge - Let's do this from 12/25/10 to 3/25/11
lol, as long as you don't come out of pocket for a hair product you are following the rule.
Re: PJ Rehab Challenge - Let's do this from 12/25/10 to 3/25/11
Okay, so how did everyone make it today? There were a few promo's going on this holiday, some were all weekend. Did anyone have to call their sponser, to talk em down?? I know I did (shout out to MzMorenaza); and the good news is, that it worked! I did not take advantage of the KBN 20% off +, you hear me + free shipping, and it was rough...but I did it....yayyyy [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] . How did you all do?

@ Arhandy - I think I am doing really good with this challenge. I am not even tempted to purchase products. Someone even offered to purchase products as a gift for me and I got a little nervous/overwhelmed because I have so many products to use already. And I don't even know what I want because I have so much stuff already.
