PJ Rehab Challenge - Let's do this from 12/25/10 to 3/25/11

Count me in!! I just did a small Oyin haul and I managed to get 3 Hairveda products on the swap board (among other things) so I think I'm good for a while. I'm also doing a No buy challenge on lhcf which runs through the summer so I think I'll be fine.

LMBO!!! Yay-Latoya is joining us -girl I did stay strong (didn't even venture to the website and look but I sure wanted to) lol, I bought the Hairveda Frosting after all that smack I was talking about them for you all and the BF/CyberMonday sale (the inner PJ took hold and I had to have the frosting-sad I know). It doesn't matter if I don't get it for two weeks I have kinky twists so I can't even use it honestly, but I bought if before joining the challenge :-)

I went to TJ Maxx today. I made it in & out without a single purchase of hair products. I told my bff who knows I'm a junkie - oh, no I'm on a challenge right now..It helped to just say it and it worked. I really am in control... At least for today:-) ( insert gold star for me here)

I'm totally out of henna. I will be visiting the Indian store tomorrow to buy no more than 2 boxes.

Just keeping myself accountable.

I do have a swap on the table but no one is biting. I may have to modify it a bit to get a taker.

Happy to report I got in and out of Sally's Beauty Supply without purchasing . I was there to take back three jars of Cholesterol Cream (DT); I didn't have a receipt so I looked around for awhile and didn't see anything that caught my eye. Finally I was able to get some Orly nail polish that was on clearance with an additional 50% off-along with Peppermint Cuticle Oil One day at a time....

My product swap didn't go so well in my eyes today-hubs looked at the products I received (amounts rather after I explained the situation between OP and I) and he was like "Um No". Not a happy camper right now-you live and learn and I won't be doing anymore swaps from now on!!!

I'm am happy to say that I did go to the Indian store and purchased only 1 box of henna for $2.16

@yacoomba. I'm sorry to hear your swap didn't go well. Did someone fudge on the remaining amounts in the swap? That is unfortunate.

I have a swap on the board now and NO ONE is biting. Not sure what i can do to spice it up so I can get what I want.

Errgh! I bought 2 packs of indigo online from Henna Sooq yesterday. I want to henna my hair for the first time hopefully next weekend. Just enough for the job, but it was a purchase. Dang.

I'm sorry your swap didn't go so well. People can be shady sometimes or it may have just been an honest mistake. I do a lot of swaps, but thankfully I've had good experiences.

Maybe we can list our items here and swap with each other.

I had a brand new jar of the Honeybush tea gel, but I gave it away...I'd definitely take you up on your offer. I like Komaza, but most people are not really into their products so you may want to offer something a little better.

Welcome to the challenge. God had me start it because I was definitely getting out of control. This is definitely going to be a lesson in discipline. So any advice to be given or received is always welcome

I told you ladies I need help. I do not need outpatient treatment! I need to be in a home somewhere! lol! We will see how much I can get through in 3 months. Now, some of that is for my 2 1/2 year old (I keep telling myself that). I got the Miss Jessies for her and I co-wash her hair too.
