Koils by nature gel!!!!

YAAAY!! I finally got my koils by nature Herbal soothing eucalyptus and lavender gel!! and it smells soooo herbal (something I have to get use too) but the ingredients are GREAT!!
-Herb infused distilled water
-shea oil
-grapseed oil
-macadamia nuts oil
-marshmellow root
-slippery elm bark
-honey
-willow bark
-lemon and peppermint essential oils
-citric acid

so my question is.. Im installing my first set of yarn braids (almost done!!)..so I cant really use the gel yet BUT I was wondering because the list of ingredients are sooo good!! could i use it to oil my scalp while my hair is in braids..it is a gel and i know your not suppose to put gel on your scalp but could this be an exception because of the ingredients..it does pertain potassium sorbate too

what do you ladies think???

yea the consistency really wouldn't be right for my scalp anyways..i just want to use it soo baddddddd!!!lol
