koils by nature
http://koilsbynature.com
has any one tried these products? I am not going to buy anything due to the fact I have enough but I came across this website when I was doing research. It seems that the owner was making her own products in her kitchen and decided to take her products to a higher level. She is a natural and started making her own products cause she was spending alot of money buying natural products.
The most popular product is the Nourishing Hair and Body Butter Sweet Almonds Joy. It is a butter that can be used not only on your hair but as a moisturizing lotion for your body. This versatility is one of the main reasons why these body/hair butters are so popular.

Pam (the owner of Koils by Nature) is a member of this forum. I havent tried her products yet but all I have heard is great things. I plan to purchase some next month!!
Sweetdrk1, BlondeByDesire, and a few other curlies on Curl Street have used her products.
She is currently running a Grad and Dads discount special...20% off each item.
Here is the link to her fan page on FB https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Koils-by-Nature/106215437791?ref=ts

Re: koils by nature
Yes, I have used the butter you mentioned and the peppermint gel. The butter is rich and smells divine. A little goes a long way.
The gel does not leave your hair hard but provides hold.
I used the butter and gel on my twists in November. They held up for three weeks.
I highly recommend these products if you hair likes oils, butters and aloe vera.
I have placed an order for a product in each category recently. I cannot wait to see how they all work together.
Pam is a sweetheart and always has great specials.

Re: koils by nature
I've tried her Lavender & Eucalyptus Gel, and to be honest, I hated it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I used it to twist my hair--now, it doesn't take much to hold my hair, most oils could even do it, and this gel had no hold whatsoever. I had to use a ton just to get the twists to stay in, and when I took them out, my twist-out was fuzzy and looked as if I hadn't put in any twists at all (and I kept the twists in for a week or so). There was absolutely no definition. I hated this gel so much, and I'm certainly not going to repurchase and wouldn't recommend it. Just being honest.

Re: koils by nature
I have used the butter in the Sweet Almond Joy scent and love it! You only need a little when you use it. I also have the Shealoe leave-in conditioner. The leave-in is really moisturizing and helps with detangling. HTH
Re: koils by nature
I ADORE Koils by Nature --- the company and the products. I have used and adored the Nourishing Hair and Body Butter and the Shealoe leave-in (recently got a sample of this and will buy the full size). I do like her gel, but you do need to use a moisturizer underneath. It's all about learning how to use a product. It has a ton of great things in it and mixes well with other products --- great hold as well!

Re: koils by nature
Priceless- i use the butter and the gel as well! I love how it makes my hair feel. I told, Pam the owner of KBN- that she needs to create something that will stop me from putting my hands in my hair.
Here is a pic of a recent set of twists...

Hello SummerRuby, I am sorry that the gel did not work for
your hair; I hope you understand that not every product is for everyone and
their hair. The women on this forum have different kinky curly coils and
what works or doesn't work for some may work for someone else hair and hair
type. I really appreciate your brutal
honesty and for giving Koils by Nature a try!!
God bless [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Re: koils by nature
The ingredients in her products look really good. I've been on a hunt for a good creamy leave-in, and her leave-in seems to fit the bill.
