Leave In Conditioner Empty Leave In Conditioner

Post by curlyneenee 13th December 2010, 6:42 pm

I have been using Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditoner and it always leaves little white balls in my hair after I use Olive Oil Eco Styler Gel when it dries. Is there any other leave in conditioners that are known not to flake with gel or any gel that won't flake? I've been so frustrated with this confused

Yeah I heard the eco styler gel or gel can cause that. I don't use any gel with anything and I really like the Cantu. I just use mine alone and then seal with an oil.

i asked that same question about the gel and someone suggested i added a bit of honey , or water , or even aloe vera gel to the gel to help the flaking , and as far as the leave in i use Giovanni direct leave in and i add ale vera juice and castor oil or Olive oil to it and it doesn't leave any residue

Cantu Leave in doesnt mix well with other products. I would suggest trying Giovanni Direct Leave in or KCKT.

I've never had problems with Giovanni Direct Leave-In with my gels and I'm a gel gal.

I really like Kinky Curly Knot Today leave in and detangler! Very moisturizing, does not leave residue, and it's thick, not running or watery. Find it Whole Foods for about $11.99. A little goes a long way.

Hmmm. That's interesting because I've found that KCKT and KCCC leaves residue in my hair.

Curls Gelsc is pretty good and doesn't leave a white residue. I agree that Eco styling gel does leave flakes in your hair Embarassed

It is the Cantu leave-in which definitely does not mix with other products. The next time you try a different leave-in with it mix them together in your hand first and you can see whether or not they will mix well before applying to your hair.
