My very first braid out!!! Empty My very first braid out!!!

Post by ~*Kiana*~ 8th December 2010, 12:46 pm

So I think it turned out ok. After taking down the braids I learned that I need to not do parts next time, maybe just take a chunk here and there and braid them. I did use the rollers on the ends.

Since I'm new to this I am just finishing up my products I have so yesterday I washed and conditioned, t-shirt towel dried, used SOFT N FREE N PRETTY Olive&Sunflower Oil Leave In Detangler (that I use on my daughter), then sectioned and used Pink Oil mosturizer in each section before braiding, then magnetic rollers on the ends. I did this at about noon yesterday and put it in my bonnet for the rest of the day and overnight. Took them down this morning.

*drumroll please* Taaa-Daaa

Thanks. Yes I agree, trial and error, and I learned something so I'm good. I actually am very pleased with this as my first attempt, I was kinda nervous. LOL

Thanks so much. I used the pineapple technique last night for sleeping and was able to salvage my hair for 2nd day....but will probably re-braid tonight.
