I have been debating on whether or not to try Miss Jessies..didn't want to pay full price for the so-so reviews. Any thoughts:D?? I have a twa but I can now do small twistouts. Which products are best for twistouts on I'm guessing I have 4-a hair.

From what I've see and tried people use the Curly Meringue for twist outs as well as the Curly Pudding.

Are there any other retail locations that carry her products? I saw the prices and the hair on the back of my neck stood up... I really don't wanna buy so much and not know if I will like the product... Neutral

Unfortunately, the prices are pretty fixed regardless to where you purchase them.

Do you know if they do like smaller sizes or samples...? How was your experience with the products?

You know, I have never seen any "sample" sizes only a value pack. Someone on this forum mentioned something recently about getting one. That way, a person could try multiple products, if that is what they wanted to do.

Some of Miss Jessie products do come in a 2 oz jar and it usually sells for 7-8 dollars. But I think the BOGO sale is for full size jars only.

My amnesia has gotten better. I do remember seeing those smaller sizes on curlmart.com. Check Miss Jessie's site too. But, I would be surprised if the 2 for 1 includes samples.

I will say you can buy it at Essentials, Target and select other stores like Ricky's NYC.

When I first went natural I went to their salon and had my hair done.....you dont want to know what that cost me....oh and my sister too!

I did buy alot of her products but all the stylers sit on top of my hair and do nothing for me!! The shampoo's and conditioners are good but I dont think they are all natural...good luck!

@ EMarie.
LOL! I can only imagine.

@NaturalNolaGirl1900
I would too. I would rather pay full price for a sample I might like, the BOGO on some full sized jars of stuff I can't use. I shudder at the thought of wasting money.

@WilliT0206
Thanx for the tip. Nice hair btw!

Marie, I have been wondering about the weekly conditioner. That is the only product I have seen that I did not object to the ingredients. Have you used it? If so, what did you think?

The conditioners worked for me! But so does Suave Naturals and Tresemme...I get the best slip with them...go figure!!

Even the shampoo was the best sulfate free option I have used to date....this mop I have does not like sulfate free so much!! LOL

I even had a sample of that Sweet Back DC or whatever its called that was really good too!

I have never tried it but I decided too. I got the Curly pudding and curly meringue and two conditioners. I should have paid for the separately because I got charged for both the 38.00 bottles and then both condishes were free. Mad I should have paid for the pudding and got the meringue for free. Then turned around and paid for the condish and got that for free. It is all good though. I will not purchase anything else from that place. I just wanted to try it. What she did not not wrong though.

I've tried the Curly Meringue. I purchased a sample from Curl Mart with some other stuff. I liked it okay. I mix with aloe vera gel. It stretches the product's life and weakens the scent. It's very, very strong. My hair was moist, but I can't say I'd buy it again. I still had frizz and of course now I've fallen in love with Darcy's.
