Hi Ladies!!! I'm a newbie to the curly world!!! I big chopped yesterday!!! I'm in beauty/cosmetology school and have been learning a lot from the curly girlz there....and I did my research and decided to go natural! I tried transitioning for almost a full week *lol* but I decided to do the BC...and I did, I have also decided to use ALL natural products, but I need some help finding something really good for moisture...it's like unless my hair is wet it's extremely dry...my husband and both of my children also have dry hair so I'm hoping to find something for the entire family....any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!! :-)

In addition to DC and your regular leave in, try Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn leave in and curl activator. It is all natural and organic. It gave me an extra moisture boost during the dry period after the BC. hth

I would suggest you choose a co-poo conditioner, aconditioner/or leave-in (approx a tablespoon) distribute through hair then seal with an oil. try this for about two weeks without deviating (unless you are getting negative results) and see what happens.

As a newbie, just remember it is not about products, its about process. Once you get the process down you are on your way. Less is More.

I now use a shea mixture recommended by a CN Friend

3 tlb Shea
1 tlb of Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, and Castor Oil
I add a fragrance of my choice and like to whip mine

This has been working wonders for me as a sealant on top of my Herbal Essence Totally Twisted.

You don't have to spend tons of money for great results. Good Luck
