Hi there,

Just some questions to get an idea of your routine: Exactly how do you detangle?
Do you slather on lots of conditioner before you do?
Do you separate it in sections or go at your entire head of hair at once?
Do you hold your hair (in a smaller section) as you detangle?
And do you start from the root of your hair and end at the tip or the other way around?

Sorry for so many, I am no means an expert, but I know what works for me, so I am trying to help Smile

Good Question, I usually here the snap and pop when I am not really
de-tangling, but combing it through a section to double twist it. I will put in moisturizer on a section of hair and then comb it through, that is when I really hear the snap and pop. Or sometimes when I am twisting if a piece hair that should not be in the twist gets in, and I try to remove it, it will pop.

I suggest that you take the moisture/protein hair test at the end of this article: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/278612/the_fine_art_of_protein_and_moisture.html?singlepage=true&cat=69
