I started this on another board. when I first went all natural. Just curious to see what your songs would be. If your hair had a song what would it be. Mine orig. was "rehab" by Amy whinehouse. Than when my hair start to look healthier and grow it was Estell's "star" Now that im over a year natural its "Love to Love you baby" dont know who sings or if that is the title but I love my hair even more as it grows. I think that "I Am Not My Hair" by India Arie comes to mind... Its just a great anti-stereotypical inspirational song in general.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Well, I guess at first my hair's song was Brownstone's If You Love Me because I think my hair wanted to tell me if I loved it as much as I claimed, I would not be Lyeing to it for so long...

Now, I kinda think that my hair's song is Swag Back by Amerie, because being naturally me has given me a different kind of confidence than I've had before [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

My hair would have an aria for a theme song because she's big and dramatic and unpredictable like an opera singers voice or maybe Bossy by Kelis because she has a dominating aura no matter how I wear her.

Through the years I have abused my hair so much with product experimentation, heat, and neglect...but through it all my hair has remained pretty strong, so I would say my hair song is "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor
