When will i see a curl pattern?

Im so excited to see my curl pattern, i know its to soon because right now i only have a half a inch of new growth and i just started transitioning. lol i hope by xmas i will be able to see more of my curl pattern. But i think i wont see it really til im at leas 6 months post relaxer lol

From what I understand, and please take my advice with a grain of salt b/c I'm new to transitioning too, you can get an idea of your curl patter around five or six months. However, you won't know your true curl pattern until all of the relaxed ends have been chopped off. I'm two months post relaxer, and prior to putting my braids in, I could see a few waves starting to peek through.

I would agree with lady bug. They'll look like waves at first but will take when more hair grows out. You can start guessing with about 3 inches of newgrowth.

I agreee, 3 to 4 inches until you can really see it. But who knows your hair may be wavy rather than curly. Mine is. It's wavy all the way to the ends then the ends curl naturally.
