I did a mixed wash, quick agitation with my Mehandi shampoo bar followed by a co-wash. I don't so much like my results but thats ok. I've followed up with my usual KCKT and shea but this time no coconut oil, I am just too tired tonight. So this is what I cam up with

A 2st. tw. in back w/two 2st. tw. up top twisted into a bun


This is me after finger combing, you can probably guess I had another style in mind...


My hair looks more like the curls I'm used to but they didn't stay moist as long

And I'm off to bed!

I feel tired, hurt and sickly today....

I got my BNB today and it smells like sparkling wild berries juice we get from the vineyards out here=YUMMY! I cant wait to try it although I'm not sure how to use it lol!

how long did it take for you to get your BNB order? did you use standard shipping...i'm worried, because i'm leaving town soon...

I talked to Nikki on Friday and I got it yesterday with my regular mail delivery. So pretty fast!

That delivery was pretty fast! Just got my shipment...will probably post on it later today. Butters-N-Bars is great, I now have enough shea butter to last a lifetime! Gotta give some as gifts!

wow, I just got my BNB shipment yesterday too, lol. Not complaining at all though!!! I didn't know they had scented shea butter...that's cool.

He like your stories! I got a bit of the same structure... If I don't know what to do, I just put a messy bun it! With a headband and big earings!

I feel like I haven't been on here in weeks! I haven't done anything major but I did learn something.
I have to rub something moisturizing into my hair every day otherwise when I take my twists down my hair is going to look hella dry and ugly it was not a good look when I took my hair down yeserday....

that's how my hair is too, but I'm so lazy and I NEVER remember to remoisturize it. Maybe that can be part of my new year's resolution

Yea I need to sit down and think about that too!....I saw what you wrote about the xHB&E bar, I wasn't that interested in that one. I think I want to try the olive babassu(?) or maybe I will just stick to co-washing....You really made me think now lol

SO I'm sitting here waiting for my henna to thaw but I'm paranoid that it dried out in the freezer because I didn't have tops for all of my containers. Please don't be dry, then I'm going to have to buy some juice...

I just mixed mine with orange juice, really simple and less acidic than lemon juice. For mow it seems to not be dried out but they aren't totally thawed...
I will definitely update!

HENNA UPDATE:

My henna came out fine, not to dry,only in the spots where it was thin in the containers.
Heres a pic w/ my plastic wrap to keep it in place lol


although I will say that my containers got mixed up so I'm not sure how the color will come out this time, but I'm not worried. Just curious!
