Problems with hair matted down

Hello All,

I don't know if it is just me but since the weather is changing my hair is getting really dry and I am also having problems with it being matted down like I haven't combed it. I know that it's not good to pick it every day or even at all but what would you guys recommend? I have seen a lot of people with fros combed out that look amazing as if they have blow dried it everyday. I just need some advice.

I also have 4b type hair.

It sound like your hair is getting to a length were it just cant be out overnight. I would suggest twisting or braiding it at night in large sections and then fluffing/picking it out in the morning.

I agree with Lynnie. I braid or twist my hair every night in big twists or braids to maintain whatever style I am wearing.
