THE OCM decline
Hey guys... I have acne prone skin and VERY oily skin at that...
Welp it seems like with one problem comes the next and there is never a solution lol
I have been using the OCM nightly for 3 weeks now and i have to say my acnes is being contained! BUT my face is so greasy and i dont understand. I moisturize daily with grapeseed oil and for the past week i have refrained from the GSO just to see if that would reduce the oily/greasyness which it hasnt.... idk what to do... any sugestions??

What is in your mix?
How many times are you steaming face with hot cloth to remove oil?
Try using more castor oil (60-70%).

My oil mix consists of 20% Castor Oil 10%Tea tree oil 20%EVOO 20%Jojoba oil 30%Grapesedoil
I let this mix sit on my face for a few minutes while I massage my face and relax. The goal is to let these naturals oils sink into your pores. I then get a warm wash cloth and place it over my face until it is cool. I repeat wetting the washcloth with warm water 3 times.
Lastly I wash my face with cool water and massage a dime size amount of grape seed oil as a moisturizer.
I do this every other night.
I was told to use less castor if you are acnes prone... idk

Check out mop top maven's OCM recipes. I agree with Chrs...sounds like you may need more castor oil.

Re: THE OCM decline
I would eliminate the EVOO from the mix as well as decrease the amount of tea tree oil. EVOO is recommended for those with dry skin. Tea tree oil is an EO and used in small amounts. I suggest using just a few drops of it after you prepare your mix. I use about five to 10 drops to a mix in a four ounce bottle.
A dime size of grapeseed oil sounds like a lot. You can try using less than a pea size of it. I use the grapeseed oil as a moisturizer also.

Yes, I have used both in a mix with castor oil. Never together but alone with good results. I would suggest one or the other but try and see if both work.CiaE wrote:Yea i think i may have too much oils... so if i were to use just grapeseed oil, jojaba oil and castor you think it will be fine??ChrsLvsBks wrote:I would eliminate the EVOO from the mix as well as decrease the amount of tea tree oil.
