I've been transitioning for 11 months now, October 26 will make a year!! woot! GO ME!! and my question is what is your opinion on when a transition is over? Last Friday I got my ends clipped but once I got home and restyled my hair, I realized I didn't have much relaxed ends at all.. So did I "big chop" and not realize it? Or am I still transitioning because I'm still working on growing out my hair? Help your fellow curly out..what do you think? My avatar is the recent cut..I dont know how to upload pics, I need help with that also lol. Thanks in advance!! I love you

IMO transition is going from relaxed hair to natural hair. So, the transition is over when you no longer have any relaxed ends, only natural hair.

I think of myself as a long term transitioner. In November it will be two years for me. It is a little weird though because the entire back section of my hair is natural, but I guess until the top portion of my hair is slowly trimmed away (only 1-2 inches left) then I will still technically be transitioning.

@naturallyu, I guess I was thinking the same thing, because some areas of my hair has grown out, and some hadn't. Thanks ladies, so I'll call it my mini chop Laughing
