I need a gel to slick my hair back

I want to get a good gel that i can use that will lay my edges flat. I have tightly coiled hair so its kinda rough. and suggestions?

You could try Eco Styler Gel or IC Fantasia a lot of curlies on this site use one of these as a staple in their regimen. Both can be purchase at Sally's or CVS

I'll be watching this thread because the gels I have dont lay my edges down. I've tried Ecostyler (clear and olive oil) and KBN eucalyptus gel.

The 2 that works for me are Aloe Vera Gel (Fruit of the Earth)...can find at Walmart and Kiss My Face Upper Management Gel (sold at Wholefoods).

Also, using a scarf to set the hair for about 20 - 30 min or so after applying the gel to your edges helps too.

I use aloe vera gel or shea moisture shea butter treatment masque and sometimes and then use the scarf method. I do this for the front and the back and it works like a charm for me.
