setting lotion
hey divas!
I'm thinking of revisiting setting lotion this weekend. Any reviews?! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: setting lotion
I use a foaming setiing lotion called Vision 2000 every weekend for my rod set. I can't seem to part with it. I get it from my college hair stylist. Its great. It's not a lot of hold but it makes my hair soft and manageable

Re: setting lotion
I love Jane Carters Wrap & Roll...great hold and smells excellent....did not leave my hard, but bounce and hold!
Re: setting lotion
All of the setting lotions I have found have more alcohol in them than I care to use. Do the products you (both of you) recommended contain a lot of alcohol?
Re: setting lotion
I recently tried Elasta QP Feels Like Silk Design Foam and I really liked it. It has good hold and my hair did not feel dry. I only tried it once, so I have to try it again to make sure...but i think its a winner.
Oh and I used Garnier Sleek n Shine underneath it.

Here are the ingridents for Jane Carters Wrap and Roll:
WRAP & ROLL: Deionized Water, Anthemis Noblis Flower (Camomile), Symphytum Officinal Leaf (Comfrey), Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail), Urtica Dioica (Nettle), Rosemarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf, Humulus Lupulus (Hops), Lawsonia Inermis (Henna), Certified Organic Essential Oils: Lemon, Grapefruit, Coco-Sultaine, Glycerine, Phenoxyethanol
Re: setting lotion
I think I'll try the Jane Carter's setting lotion, too. Thanks for that info, koils:)
Re: setting lotion
I use Jane Carter's C&S under the wrap and Roll and get great results. I actually mimicked the technique of one of the stylists at curltopia in Atlanta. I would put the C&S in a spray bottle first in order to ensure even distribution of the product. Another note about the C&S, be SURE to use it on wet hair, otherwise it can create a white film on your hair. PRO PRo PRO the Ms Jane's products are all natural. Oh yeah, for optimal results i would use a good leave in. Jessicurl too shea and Aloeba(as a leave in) played very nicely with the wrap and roll and C&S.

Re: setting lotion
Lottabody has an olive oil version that is supposed to be alcohol free. Picked up a small bottle at Sally's. Gonna try it out this weekend.

This was a good question and these were helpful answers. I just bought the Jane Carter Wrap and Roll and I'm excited to see what happens!
