hey divas!

I'm thinking of revisiting setting lotion this weekend. Any reviews?! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I use a foaming setiing lotion called Vision 2000 every weekend for my rod set. I can't seem to part with it. I get it from my college hair stylist. Its great. It's not a lot of hold but it makes my hair soft and manageable

All of the setting lotions I have found have more alcohol in them than I care to use. Do the products you (both of you) recommended contain a lot of alcohol?

I recently tried Elasta QP Feels Like Silk Design Foam and I really liked it. It has good hold and my hair did not feel dry. I only tried it once, so I have to try it again to make sure...but i think its a winner.

Oh and I used Garnier Sleek n Shine underneath it.

I use Jane Carter's C&S under the wrap and Roll and get great results. I actually mimicked the technique of one of the stylists at curltopia in Atlanta. I would put the C&S in a spray bottle first in order to ensure even distribution of the product. Another note about the C&S, be SURE to use it on wet hair, otherwise it can create a white film on your hair. PRO PRo PRO the Ms Jane's products are all natural. Oh yeah, for optimal results i would use a good leave in. Jessicurl too shea and Aloeba(as a leave in) played very nicely with the wrap and roll and C&S.

Lottabody has an olive oil version that is supposed to be alcohol free. Picked up a small bottle at Sally's. Gonna try it out this weekend.
