how do y'all feel about beeswax?

i'm kinda at a crossroads. i was trying to avoid using beeswax on my hair since i swore it off back when i had my locs. for me, i know 100% beeswax is an absolute no-no, but now that i'm a PJ, i've noticed quite a few of my hair creams, balms, and moisturizers have beeswax on the ingredients list. not sure what to do with them. some of the products were just ok, but others were kinda awesome! what to do, what to do
i'm just concerned about long-term build-up, breakage, or blocking out moisture (these are just a few of the side effects i've read about)

how do you curly girls feel about it?

ew... i think beeswax is disgusting...idk something about it and just when i stuck my finger in it, I automatically said no....too waxy for me
