I have been doing my own finger coils for about a month now. What i have noticed it that they look dry. I have seen naturals who coils are shiny, why is that? If you have done coils, what are you using to get that shine?

Hey CQ, when I did my coils I used carols daughter mimosa honey something or another and then eco styler gel on top of that and they came out all shiney and soft and awesome lol

I use sheamoisture curl smoothie and Fluertzy's hair butter to coil. I make chunky coils for a coil out but they are shiney and soft when they "set."
