Hand in Hair disease
Hi everyone. I'm fairly new here. I was checking CN's dictionary of terms only to discover that the constant problem from which I suffer has a name: HAND IN HAIR disease. I've been afflicted for most of the 6 months since I've been natural again. I wear mostly wash-n-gos since my hair is still relatively short. Things have gotten so bad with my HIH that I've instructed my partner so slap my hand away when I'm doing it.
What have you done to combat this terrible disease? I don't want to lose my hair over it!
Re: Hand in Hair disease
Try putting in some small twists, or another protective style for a little while. That way you'll have a protective style for a few days, and you won't be able to do as much damage when you play in your hair because your ends will be protected
