Alicia Keys & Janelle Monae Inspired 'Dos

Saturday, I decided to try the Alicia Keys 'do AGAIN. It was the 'do she wore in the video Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart. I was pleased with the look. On Tuesday, I changed it to a Janelle Monae-ish style.

You did a wonderful job, it looks just like it and I love the purple earrings! Very cute!

Thanks ladies! It was so easy to do. I watched three to four videos on YT to see what they did. The style lasted five days so that was a plus.

I purchased my earrings, Mother Africa, from the creator of Curly Chicks shirts. She also has an etsy shop. I met her at a local meet up. The website for the shirts and other brand items is curlychicksonline.com. She has a link to her etsy shop on there, I think.

As for the makeup, I am having a blast with it. It has become a hobby for me like my hair.
