Heat Protectants Empty Heat Protectants

Post by ChiChi10 12th November 2009, 5:17 pm

What do ya'll use? I'm looking for a really good one. I don't want to go out and buy various ones cuz I rarely use heat, so I'd take years trying them to see if they work.

Any suggestions?

I HAVENT USED ANY HEAT ON MY HAIR IN LIKE 8 MONTHS BUT WHEN I DID I LOVED FANTASIA IC HAIR POLISHER HEAT PROTECTOR STRAIGHTENING SERUM IN THE PINK BOTTLE.

A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. I APPLIED IT ON WET HAIR JUST BEFORE BLOW DRYING SECTION BY SECTION. OR ON DRY HAIR JUST BEFORE FLAT IRONING OR CURLING. IT HAS MUCHO CONES TO PROTECT. SO USE SPARINGLY AND POO IT ALL OUT WHEN YOU ARE READY TO CHANGE STYLE. GOOD LUCK!!!

I used this in the past as well. I stopped using it about 6 months ago when I gave my hair a break from heat. I am wearing my hair straight now but I flat iron on a low setting and use Giovanni's Frizz Be Gone. I may start using the Hair Polisher since I have a half a bottle left.

Chi Iron Guard you can find at TJ Maxx. I flat ironed the back of my hair the other day just and used the Chi Iron Guard and when I washed my hair, my curls reverted right back w/o any looseness.

I like Hot Sauce by FHI. Since it has been so cold I have been flat ironing every 2 weeks and it always last the 2 weeks. It is not greasy and has jojoba oil crystalized so it is released when the heat hits it. A little goes a long way. The bottle will probably last me until next year since soon, hopefully, it will warm up so that I can go out with wet or damp hair.

when i was straigtening my hair i used CD Hair milk before blow drying and EVCO melted before flat ironing. I usually melted it in the cap and a little goes a long way!
