Shea Butter
I so appreciate this video!

I've limited the use of shea butter in my hair for quite some time. However, I'm still using it faithfully on my skin; but as a sealer. I use it on just out of the shower, dripping wet skin, and then I air dry. I do the same on my face.

Re: Shea Butter
Shea butter doesn't agree with my hair when used on dry hair, it's just too heavy and results in build up. But now I add a small piece (melted) to my deep conditioner and it feels wonderful. I'm so glad I've found a use for it.
I also use on my face like you.

Re: Shea Butter
I use shea butter in combination with my leave in and other oils.
Very informative. I would love to hear what Dajewel has to day about it.

Re: Shea Butter
Thanks for the video. This is exactly what I was asking about in the other thread...many hair products claim the shea butter is a moisturizer, but I always thought that butters and oils were the same...sealants.
Thanks a bunch.

Re: Shea Butter
I agree with her. It seals in moisture. I have looked at Scholar Google previously to see if I could determine its properties. I was not able to find anything useful.
