Sooo. I want to BC but... Empty Sooo. I want to BC but...

im not sure how it will turn out..i have really thick 4c hair....i have been transitioning for 9 months now and im really getting sick of my straight ends...i just want to chop it all off...can you recommend some products and tips( particularly if you have the same hair type as me).

both ways...i just want my hair to be healthy and look good...most people on here have 4ab hair...those with 4c mine is wayyy thicker..

I say just experiment the first 2-3 weeks. When your first do the BC you may notice that some of the things you did during your transition may not necessarily work for you now. If you have any staple products that you use while transitioning I would suggest starting off with those, they should work the same. But, for the first month or so just get to learn your hair, what it likes, doesn't like, what it needs. It's a learning experience.

You should definitely quit straightening your hair. Straightening frequently will lead to heat damage if it hasn't occurred already. Look into wearing protective styles such as twists(outs), braids(outs), bantu knots(outs) and buns. You could even wear braided extensions or weaves but please, please stop straightening your hair and protect it! You could also try wearing wigs. I would also incorporate protein treatment as well as deep conditioning treatments to strengthen and moisturize your strands.
