Vatika Oil and Argan Oil
I have a bunch of Vatika oil (only sold in packs of 4 on Amazon) and it has all manner of great things in it--coconut oil, henna, alma, lemon. I've been using it for a couple of months and I really can't tell one way or another if it's helping (I use it to seal), but I'm wondering if it's causing my hair to get frizzy when mixed with my leave in?
Also, same question with the Argan Oil (which I bought from Sally's). Are these types of things supposed to just be used as deep treatments or can they be used after cowashes, etc?

I use Vatika oil as a pre-poo, sealer, and styler and it's great in the sense that it's lighter than my pure oils so doesn't leave my hair greasy. My daughter's hair loves it and sucks it up - softness w/no greasiness.

Re: Vatika Oil and Argan Oil
it won't cause frizz. also, a new way to use vatika is to mix it with your henna. I used the green tea and honey with my henna and it made my hair so dry.
the next time i henna-ed i tried the vatika oil + water + henna and my hair was so soft.
i'm wondering if this is the same vatica that hairveda puts in their vatika frosting...

Thanks for the responses. I really love the lightness of the vatika, but thought it may be causing the frizzies. Maybe it was just the weather...

I have tried both and I love the argan oil. I can put as much as I like in my hair and it doesn't weigh it down. It reminds me of Aveda's brillant hair oil. I'm not sure how well it does with eliminating frizzes. The Vatika is thicker and good too, but I find myself using the argan oil more.

I've never tried Vatika Oil, but I love Argan oil. I apply it after my leave-in and it doesn't cause frizz.
