Hey ladies! So here's a quick update on my Lucy. She's getting thicker and thicker each day to the point that I have developed a severe case of HIH sydrome. My mom is amazed by how many textures are in my hair that she said, "There are even straight hair in there!"(Anyone have experienced this in there hair?). Anyway, I'm having fun with Lucy, but I noticed that my hair is not responding to the products that I used when I first BCed, so now I basically doing a trial and error run. Also, I was kinda getting tired of the whole WnG routine, so I have been looking for styles that might spice Lucy up a bit. Hence, I bought the afro pick and I love it. Now, I just need to find some cute protective styles for Lucy since school is starting again and I'll probably have less time to do my hair. Any tips is greatly needed and appreciated. I've gotten so many compliments including my lil cousin who said, "Your hair is so curly...it looks like rubber bands in your hair!"

I'm on day 2 hair now, but I probably redo the back and wear the style until the weekend. I think this could be a great protective style, but my problem now is that I have a problem covering up the parts. Any suggestions?

hello hope you are doing welll. can you pull them closer together? sometimes that helps cut style you doing more then me when mine was that short

ummm...wow so ive been gone for a minute and clearly missed ur BC but u are soooooooooo GORGEOUS!! ur face is so regal and u are looking perfect wit the twa!

yes i had straight pieces after my amber rose cut and i thought i'd need to chop again but after about the 3rd month i just realized...the top of my head just aint the same texture as the rest . im glad ur having fun and enjoying it. i couldnt stop enjoying the water hittin my head everyday cuz i had deprived myself from it for so long so it just felt so liberating. i was using any and every type of products in the beginning but after the fun wore down i started gettin serious to see what my hair really likes so i just developed a routine to use a product for a good 3 times (or 3 wks) to put a stamp on whats a keeper and weed out what i aint got no business buying in the first place.

but no seriously...are u a model? we need to see more beautiful black women ESP of ur skin tone (which is flawless btw) to be out here reppin.

LOL! Thank you, but I'm not a model....although a lot of people have been asking me that. I would be a bad example of a fashion model....I eat junk food and everything under the moon and I hardly exercise, but I'm slowly trying to eat more healthy....slowly.

You have beautiful skin! Your TWA fits you so well! I love the coils, they look great! Don't worry about the parts. I've learned to embrace them when I did my coils. Length comes with protective styling so keep up the good work!

Long time, no see folks! I've been busy with school and work so here's a quick update for ya! I've been doing my youtube twists from last time and twistouts as my staple styles. Lucy has been growing like crazy and as a result, my mother desperately wants to straighten my hair so it will look "cuter with a bob". Go figure. Anyway, here some pics to enjoy.
