John Masters Organics Styling Gel

I went to WholeFoods last weekend and I saw John Masters Organics styling gel. If you used K triple C then you'll love this gel's consistancy because it seems a little thicker but jelly-like none the less. It smells so good too (smells like oranges). I love this stuff with only one problem...it turns my hair into a snow flake [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] !

Has anyone used this product before that could give me some good advice on what to use underneath it? I've used Knot Today, castor oil, and Jojoba oil; is there anything else I could use?
