Re: 10 Months Post Relaxer
10 months tomorrow! no pics right now due to my lack of a camera. But my hair hasn't changed very much and neither has my style. I only bun my braid out during the week now. My roots expand, and my ends flatten, so the difference in the textures is more noticeable and so I don't wear my hair down/out anymore unless its only for one day or a special occasion.

Re: 10 Months Post Relaxer
I've been on my transitioning journey for 10.5 months. I definitely don't plan on BCing anytime soon. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures to share. I will say that my hair has grown tremendously during the past 10.5 months.

I couldn't take it anymore. Relaxed ends are gone and I have no regrets.

Re: 10 Months Post Relaxer
I am approaching my 10th month and still feel so conflicted....should I stick to my original plan: BC for my 1 year anniversary. Or, should I continue to transition.
Because I am so confused, I have been reading more and more about the BC. It's kinda scary...knowing that your natural hair will shrink because the perm is currently pulling it so it appears longer. Idk, I do not have a small head...
Then, I just watched Oprah, who interviewed Debbie Morgan. She looked fab!!!! and her hair was gorgeous! HELP!!!

Re: 10 Months Post Relaxer
Okay...I did a mini/major cut last night. In preparation for my BC next month, I cut a lot of hair last night. I thought it would be more tramatic than it actually was...I guess I was testing the waters! I think I am ready to be free of the perm. On April 23rd, I will host a hair party at my house and do the BC with people who love and supported me through this journey!!!!! Wish me luck!
