Noodle Head Products and Advice

Her wair is very curly but certain spots are starting to get straight. I've been using The Beyond The Zone Noodle head Curling Cream and leave in conditioner and that hold better if i use both at the same time.

I use water on her hair everyday just to be able to comb through it. Is that Bad? Should I be combing her curls everyday? Because I don't wash her hair that often( her hair dries out very fast).
