thank you KNH, im proud of myself. my mom best friends thought I would do it but when they picked me up from the salon they complimented my so much. I love these women they are like my aunties, so there opinions matter a lot. My brother says I'm like him now. LOL He likes it and my mom, like it she says she hasn't seen my hair so short since i was like 2.

I bet your curls are beautiful!!! You transitioned for 7 months? WOW I'm sure you have a nice head of curls!!! I'm glad your family is being supportive...my bc had to grow on my family and friends!!! Not sure if they are completely on board, but shoots I don't care cause I love my natural hair!!!!

Congrats Deva. I BCd this morning and am so excited about doing my very first wash and go. After I chopped and saw those curls poppin I thought of Lynnieluve's avatar and how I will be able to achieve that look on natural hair.

Thanks ladies I'm so happy I made such a sudden decision to cut. I'm free, I'm free, yeah for me bc I'm free [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I'm just so excited about all the styles I can wear. Especially this summer, I can't wait. I may not get that summer weave after all. Any advice ladies on wash and gos? I currently have availalbe for use: HETT, Giovanni Direct Leave-In condish, Ecostyler gel, Curls' Curl Souffle, unrefined 100% shea butter, castor oil and EVOO. I think these products can get me started. What do you think?

Let me know how the HETT works for your WnG--one of the cones in it my hair doesn't like, so I don't really get the best curls with it. It's an awesome detangler, though!
