My last perm was 1/19/10, and I was wondering if anyone else was around the same time. If so what are you doing with your hair, have you BC'd yet or are you still transitioning? Please share.

My last relaxer was 1/3/10!! I don't think you can say I'm transitioning anymore because I plan to do my BC today after class! I am so excited! SInce we BC'd within the same month, what products are working well on your hair right now? I cut the back of mine last night and it's soooooo dry. Idk what to do Sad

I'm right there with you Rosebud. My last relaxer was 1/16. Right now I'm battling the dryness. I think I'm going to start only shampooing once a month. I started out cowashing daily, but I've slacked off. So I'm going to start doing that again. I use Hair One Olive oil which I like because it tingles a little and cleans well. I only DC once a week, but I'm thinking I should increase that to two times a week. Sometimes I feel so lost. What's your regimen?

Finally. I cant wait to see it, i am excited for you. I use as an oil, shea butter, castor oil EVOO and coconut oil. I still have some permed hair at the top, not much. I wash and condition with burt bees grapefruit and pomagrant (love the smell). Dont worry, its called trial and error you will have fun learning your hair.

I co-wash every other day with burts bees grapefruit and pomagrate (smells good), as an oil i use EVOO, coconut oil, shea butter and castor oil. I bought some of the WEN products from QVC, I am not sure it is doing anything yet to my hair but i use that too. So far no dryness and it is really soft, I sleep with my satin scarf which comes off like 5 time through out the night but in the morning I am good to go.

So do you comb or brush your hair? I'm not sure if I should just leave mine as is or comb it out.

i brush the sides and the back, and the top I comb out. I have major shrinkage so it shrinks right back down. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
