I actually used my WEN. For 32.00 I might as well use it.

Got it, you can actually see more curls in this photo, so getting rid of those permed ends helped. Next time, after you use wen, try applying a leave-in (if you didn't) seal with an oil, then apply the gel. I've tried skipping these steps in the past and the results were different and not in a good way.

Not a good morning for me. I have 2 sick kids (9and 1) so guess who did not get any sleep last night, ME . Being a single mom has its ups and downs, but I would not trade my life for the world. Hey girl I hope the kids feel better. Sickness with kids can go two ways bad if they have things coming from both ends or good (for us anyway) if they just need to rest and slleep because we get a break from all that talking they do lol.

I see curls in that photo. If you weren't that happy with the results it may just need to grow out a bit so that you can get more of the definition your looking for. My hair in the back at the bottom doesn't have any curl even with the gel. I have heard curlies saying that they seal with a oil like NhappyJackie stated.

Just remember trial and error trial and error. Have a blessed day and take care of the little ones again I hope they feel better.

Hey MO, Thanks for checkin in. The kids are doing better but I think I got the bug now. Yeah those are curls..... I am going to try it again tomorrow when I do my co-wash. I was thinking the same thing, maybe my hair needs to grow out a little more.

ok so, I made me a water bottle (Garnier Fructis Fortifying Cream Conditioner, EVOO, and water). Last night I spritz and sealed with my oils (shea butter, EVOO, coconut and cator oil) wraped my head in a scraf and went to sleep. Woke up and it was super soft, did it again tonight and i cannot keep my hands out of it.

Rosebud your hair is growing in very nicely. I'm going to have to try to make me some type of hair spritz concoction. I think a few other people talk about similar mixes and results.

You can definitely see that growth. I am still amazed at how fast hair grows you notice it when its long but you can really tell when you have it short. Think about how much growth you will have in two more weeks

You are right, you can really tell when you have short hair, I hope you are taking pics too. In two more weeks? hmmmm we will have to see.

Hey Rose! Just checkin in. Glad you kids are feeling better and I hope you get over the bug before it has the chance to kick in! Your growth is really coming in! I use to feel so weird taking a million pics every day but it really helps when you feel as if your not getting any growth!!
