Henna on Wet vs Dry Hair

Hey ladies,

I am preparing to do my first henna application this weekend *yay* and I have been wondering 1 thing for the longest:

--Is it better to apply the henna to dry hair (after washing it, of course) or to freshly washed hair while wet?

I'm figuring it depends on whats easier for the individual but does it matter? I mean does it have the same end effects?

I'm hoping is doesn't matter b/c I have a big head and super thick hair that if done dry, my paste has a slim chance of making it thru and things will be uneven lol

Any comments or ideas?

This question has been posed on Hennaforhair.com's forum, and the conclusion is that it doesn't really matter--the results will be the same.

I opt for wet/damp hair...the paste is easier to apply, and definitely goes farther. Plus, if you miss a spot, the paste will readily disburse as your body heat warms things up.
