Dry Twistout
Okay, I recently saw a pic of Corine Bailey-Rae and she had a dry twist out and it was really cute! How is this achieved? Blow dry the hair and just twist with no product? Not even shea butter? Would love to try this look.
Thanks [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I don't know HOW you'd do a twistout without product. I like my twistouts better dry though. I spritz my hair lightly with my homemade leave-in and then I twist with BeeMine Curly Butter. Then I go to sleep and take them out in the morning. It looks like this. I've done TnC like this too.

Re: Dry Twistout
Hey girls! Great tutorial by the way! I was wondering, with this style fo i do my normal wash and condition then blow dry my hair out? Would this cause dryness and what do you all do to not have you hair dry? Thanx!

Re: Dry Twistout
@Sunflower I hardly ever use heat on my hair. After I wash and condition, I use a microfiber towel to squeeze all the excess water out of my hair so that it's just damp, and then I twist. I either do this on the weekend in the morning, and then I wear the twists all day and take them out the next morning. Or I do this right after work and take the twists our in the morning before work the next day and they're all dry. If I'm really in a rush I'll put jojoba oil on my scalp after I twist and sit under a hooded dryer on cool for an hour or so. HTH

@Savvybrown....Thanks so much. For the past 4 weeks I been wearing a protective style. This weekend I plan to henna and try the dry twist. Will post pics of the outcome.
