Aphogee 2 Step Protein Treatment

Can anyone tell me about this treatment and if they got good results...Thanks in advance

I have tried this treatment twice and yielded really nice results. However, I really not sure how often I should be doing this, so I just do it about once every three months (thanks for the reminder). One major/minor complaint......it stinks!! DId your try it?

I've tried this and the results were great. It definitely stopped the breakage I was experiencing (because I needed protein). But I switched to a natural alternative to this product. Now, I use Komaza Care Protein Strengthener as my hard protein treatment. It works just like the Aphogee. I do this treatment once every 8 wks and make sure to DC afterwards.

i've done it three times since i realized i was transitioning. it really REALLY helped me with breakage. the way the mixture dries on your hair is a little intense and i have super fine hair so i was worried that it would be too strong but my hair benefits greatly from the treatment. before i changed up my regimen, i was doing it every 8-10 weeks.

I usually use Aubrey Organics GPB (Glycogen Protein) Balancing Condish for my hard protine treatments once a month...

Sorry I know this post is months later lol, but Aphogee didn't work me. It burned my scalp just like a perm. I believe it was too strong for me.

I've only used it once on relaxed hair, but I sure loved it! Do naturals even really need such a hard protein treatment anyways? I know it's rather late to be replying, but was your hair breaking off or in need of something so powerful? If you had just did the BC I would assume it probably wasn't, but could be wrong.

As far as "cones", I guess cones they work for some but not all...just like every other product. My hair likes them. When I do flat-iron and sometimes when I just where an afro puff/s, I go to the Fantasia IC Heat Protector/Hair Polisher...makes my hair so soft and the shine is incredible.

Hmm... I tried this product once because I had bad breakage. It left my hair hard and crunchy. Decreasing combing and manipulation helped with my breakage. It probably depends on your hair though because my roommate loves Aphogee.
