Medications vs. Herbals- some have the same mechanism of action. If both yield the same result, once could argue that they are essentially the same. But, as we both know, drugs contain additional chemicals. Therefore, herbals are considered the natural approach. And alot of people prefer that. Do you see a bit where I'm going with this?
To me, nothing is truly natural. This argument would imply that one is not natural if they brush their teeth, take a shower, even shampooing the hair as your hubby mentioned is not natural. You have to do something. When you wake up in the morning you can't just walk outside. That's disgusting. If you have high blood pressure, you could let your body deteriorate, take some meds, or go an a garlic regimen. But ultimately, if you want to live, you have to take action. Same thing with hair.
All that being said. I agree with you and most others. Natural to me is simply no relaxer. The end.
