Whats in ur spray bottle?!

ok so ive been reading a lot about u ladies and ur handy dandy spray bottles. So wht do u put in it to keep ur hair super moisturized (other than the coconut and shea butter mixture)?

I put water, vegetable glycerin, and tea tree oil in my bottle. I need to find a fragrance to put in it because the tea tree oil smell is over powering. Does anyone have any suggestions for fragrance?

In my spray bottle: Simply setting lotion, Giovanni tea tree conditioner and water. I use it when I'm doing a tnc or just rewetting my hair slightly.

I'm looking for a bottle with a light mist so that I can give life to my flat curls in the morning with some oil. My spray bottle seems to dispense too much liquid.

the one i got from walmart in the aisle with the travel stuff lets you adjust the nozzle to control the spray.

My spray bottle has Water, Paul Mitchell-The Condition, coconut, bringraj, and grapeseed oil. Lastly, a hint of Rosemary or Jasmine for smell.

Tmochava- Im a huge fan of Jasmine, Lavender. I don't know if you have any Frank Juice but some of that for smell is great also.

I have two spray bottles I am using now. One has a mixture of water, HE HH and aloe vera gel. I use it to refresh subsequent hair days. The other has a strong tea of fenugreek and green. I use it to spritz at night before applying moisturizer and sealer. I make sure I spritz it on my scalp--hoping for growth.

@cococolacutie, do you have a picture of what you purchased from Walmart? I have read others have purchased an oil sprayer from Bed Bath and Beyond or similar stores. The oil dispenser was a bit more than I was willing to pay but WallyWorld will likely be less expensive.

I have two:
1. Aloe Gro Mix
2. Distilled water and Giovanni TTT Condish

I mainly use the Aloe Gro on my husbands hair and the water/condish on mine. I don't really see any growth from the Aloe Gro but it does a great job moisturizing.

1. Rosemary + H2O
2. Elasta QP H-Two Leave in Conditioner+ H2O+ Aloe Vera Gel

H2O and infusium 23 and a little bit of greg juice.

I use agua, glycerin, tea tree, peppermint, sweet orange oils and Healthy Sexy Hair's Pumpkin Potion(leave-in conditioner). Sometimes I may use only my African Pride's Tea Tree &Peppermint braid spray.

Spray bottle #1 contains distilled water, a squirt of Giovanni direct leave-in, 1 oz sweet almond oil, veggie glycerin, a tsp of silk peptide powder, and a couple of drops of peppermint essential oil.

Spray bottle #2 contains plain distilled water.

You can also find great spray bottles in the $1 section of Target. They will adjust to spray a fine mist.

2. Rosemary EO, Almond Oil & Distilled Water

JBCO , Olive Oil, and Water. I use it to wake my hair up. I too need something to stop the overpowering smell of JBCO. N e suggestions?

I mix water with a tablespoon of Giovanni Direct Leave-In conditioner. It's a great moisturizer for when my hair is super dry.

Right now my spray bottle has water only.

My summertime spray bottle has water, glycerin and lemongrass and/or rosemary essential oils. I've used it once this winter though when my hair was really dry.

Water, hehh, giovanni leave in, and glycerin (lol its my first spray bottle so I kind of got excited and put a lot in but it works WONDERS for my hair!) My hair is in self installed braid extensions right now so I use it almost daily as a braid spray

Im thinking of making another one for the scalp

water and a few drops of Pooka hair nectar

I'm a little late to the game but I have Giovanni Direct Leave-in & water in my spray bottle. I wear twist-outs everyday so I use this when I re-twist.

I really want to try Giovanni, any recommendations on which one is the best for a type 4a sistah that normally does twists at night?

I use Lavendar oil for fragrance...It smells GREAT!!!!

What water do you use tap, bottled, boiled???

The water is ok in my area so I use tap.

Do you let it sit in your bottle or do you re-fresh each day?

I use bottled water because wasn't sure if i could leave the tap water in the bottle all week....

I add my oils to it and use it for the week...
