@Chrs- I looked at the heat protectant and the third ingredient was alcohol denat so maybe that is what caused the excessive dryness. I won't be using that again!

OK, I have been out of commision. My baby has been sick.

I have been playing around with styles trying to figure out how I am going to wear my hair for the CLT meet-up this Saturday. The jury is still out!

@TJ- That is what I plan on doing. I have been rocking a braid n curl all week. It's a little different from the previous pictures because I left a lot of hair unbraided and then rolled them. This week I have been braiding down to the ends and just rolling the bottom to make a curl.

Tonight I am going to twist it and see how I like it.

Today is a good hair day. I have been rebraiding my hair every night. It sucks but it does guarantee that your hair looks good the next day. Last night, I put a scarf on to hold down the puffy roots. OH MY..that scarf works wonders. It is much flatter on top this morning than it has been ALL WEEK! LOVE IT!

Is still in a dilemma over my hair! My hubby want to go out tonight but I need to wash my hair so that I can be ready for the Meet Up tomorrow.

Thanks Chrs & BBD! It is a TNC (used rollers for the ends). I put about 12 twists in.

@BBD- when I rebraid at night I put about 2-3 squirts of water and add a little more product.

@CKF- Thanks for stopping by! She is feeling better. At least her ear swelling has went down. Now I have to get rid of this runny nose.

Although I did my hair Friday night for the Curly Meet up- I didn't like it that much. Way too big! I wore it like that Sunday for church then came home and put it in a side bun. I will be wearing a bun all this week.

I made it kind of messy so I don't look so "teacherish" ! I left a little down in the front that I put into a bantu knot. I can't take pics since I can't find my charger .

Well today I am still wearing the bun! I don't know if I will make it all week like this. I kind of want to take the bun down and just wear a wild and loose side pony tail (w/ my hair). The only problem is that I will look so little "girlish".

It's funny my manager stopped by my cube and complimented my hair. He said, "We have never seen it like that before". I responded "No, you haven't this is the first time I am wearing it like this". I told him don't get used to it...it might be different before the week is out. I have products to use and styles to try !

That's a phony pony in the Founder's day pics??? I LOVE it. What kind is it? The one I have is more wavy than curly and is obviously phony, but yours has a natural look to it.
