I just wanted to inform you ladies that I did finally get a dog Its not a yorkie (expensive) but its a shih tzu/penkingese mix I got her from the animal shelter Jan. 5 her name is TeaT Love her to death

Sebastian, that's awesome you got a dog and that fact that it's a rescue is even more wonderful. Can't wait to see pics.

I'll be posting pics of my pooches tonight as soon as I get home. They're both rescues.

Y'all dogs are too cute. My dog is an Akita named T-bone.(no he is not named after the steak. he is named after one of the characters on the cartoon Swat Kats.) He is two years old and is spoiled rotten.

He looks like a giant Teddy Bear and is 105 pounds and (using my height) about 5'7 or 5'8 when standing to give me a hug.

Ooooohhh, I love this thread! Everyone's babies are soooo adorable! Boomer is an only child, lol (shih tzu) and spolied rotten! Me and the SO cannot remember our lives before him.

I'm late on this post.

But I have a Yorkie..
I've wanted a Yorkie since I was in elementary school --last year I decided to finally get one--I searched
shelters but the ones in my area required you to "apply" for Yorkie pups as you would for a job (they asked for references and everything) and after I got turned down I decided to go ahead and purchase from a breeder that was selling for a price that wasn't ridiculous (the prices in pet stores of $1,000+ is crazy, plus I didn't want to support puppy mills)

I just love my dog so much lol He' 9 mnths now--and becoming lazy/lap dog, he's well behaved 95% of the time lol

Here's my boy on Halloween.. we adopted him on 9/25/10 and he's the bestest sweetest doggie ever. I'm loving all the pictures..
