@CarlsM - Babies will have accidents! I used to have to keep rug cleaner, a brush, paper towels, and a spray bottle of alcohol (totally removes the smell!) all over the house! They are all now house trained, but DH made the mistake of saying once "It's their bedroom too!". The bad thing is, we actually have one bedroom set up as their room....but I can't sleep without all my kids around me!

DH also said if we ever split, I can go, but his kids ain't goin' nowhere!! Guess I know where I sit in the pecking order! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

FYI - Sorry, I made a typo, it's Gideon STORM....I have a Biblical/XMen theme goin on with the names! Smile

So last week Cooper (Shih Tzu) went into my work bag and found my twizzler stash!! LOL!! He had to go through two bags to get to them so he really wanted them badly!! LOL!! So he was fine that night....but the next morning OMG!! He had twizzler's coming from both ends!! It was pretty bad!! After he purged himself he passed out like he had a bad hangover!! He slept for the rest of the day! I bet he will never eat another twizzler ever again!!

@Siren, wow two little ones. Are they needy? My husband feels smaller dogs are more needy than larger breeds.

I bet Lucy enjoys all you do for her.

@blondie, I sometimes forget Gizmo is a dog. I talk to him like he is one of my sons.

I want a Shih Tzu. They are too cute. Anything bigger than that I don't think I can handle.

That peek-a-poo is too cute as well.

I would love to have a birthday party for my oldest dog, her b day is in june, but who would come to the party? She has no doggy friends other than her "half sister". Them 2 alone would be so boring. Plus they are anti social. I've taken them to the doggy park and the doggy beach, these two dogs dont wanna play and run around with the other dogs. They like to lay up under each other, just like they are doing right now as I type this post. I love spoiled dogs and her sweater is so cute. Omg when hershey was around 2, I bought her some pajamas with the footies. aww I miss her being a smaller days. Shes 10 pounds now, lazy and heavy.

Thanks Sweetdrk
@Chrs, they're not needy at all. they love people. Love going on walks, love being brushed, love getting their bellies rubbed. Their both house dogs and they are trained to pee & poop outside. Besides providing them with food and water, they pretty much do their own thang.

Oh my goodness! You all are making me want a dog sooooo bad! These guys are too cute!

So as far as my pets go, we have a lutino peach faced lovebird named Eggs. She's really
strange, but I adore her. She seems to think she's a rabbit these days,
and follows Chuy around on the floor and chews up cardboard with him. I
don't have any photos of her available, though.

This is Chuy when we first adopted him in April 09:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Personally, I think he might have been a bit young to leave his mom, but the owners wanted to sell them and he's grown up a healthy and wonderful boy. My daughter wanted to name him "Chewy" because he was the little bugger of the litter who kept chewing on our clothes and whatnot when we were trying to pick one. Of course, just like people, bunnies don't change--we've lost a phone cord, headphones, books, etc to those bunny teeth! When we settled on the name, I decided to spell it Chuy so that it was at least a proper name.

This is Chuy just shy of all grown up (he's a dwarf rabbit). You'll also find another pet of mine in this picture:

@LuvMeLuvMyFro I have 2 dogs the flea & tick controller I use... well there's 2 brands. 1 is made by Hartz its called Ultra Guard Plus: Flea & Tick drops. The other is by Adams and its called Spot on Flea & tick control. Both work well and the prices are reasonable. I got them from Target. Its so much cheaper then going to petco or petsmart. HTH

@ChrsLvsBks - Thanks! They are all about the snow after getting over their initial fear of it!

@LuvMeLuvMyFro- Advantix- I like this one because it repeals mosquitos too. I get mine from a pet pharmacy in FL (Allivet), really good prices. I saved over $400 last year buying from them as opposed to the vet. I get my heartworm preventative from them too.
