hair doesnt coil around itself
I have been meaning to ask this question for a while. My hair just doesn't coil around itself. Could it be my texture? my hair is like undefined 3c mixed with 4a and b. (prolly why they arent defined) Its at 5 inches and is almost starting to fall of its own. When I do define them (by taking a 3c coil and lightly spinning it with some hair around it) They fall and they bounce all over the place.
When I do twists, my hair doesnt coil. for about an inch of the end. So the twist is pointless. the only place it does is way in the back at the bottom of my hair line. O_o
I have no more perm and sometimes i keep clipping my ends to see if it will coil around itsself and it doesnt. O_O
Does anyone have this problem? (sry this might be kinda long. )

It feel likes you just described my hair. I think I have a lot of scab hair, maybe that could be your problem too?

Sounds like my hair. Today I skip the kckt and sealer, just cowashed. Even though its a bit dry its the best define curls/ coils ever. Less frizz than usual.

Fair enough, though some people have gone much longer and still reported having scab hair. Just throwing my two cents in, but I understand. Hope you figure it out!

Well from what you said it seems that your hair is just loose in texture and won't coil. My hair is highly textured and does except for the wavey hair in the front. The looser the hair the hair the less likely that it will coil. To remedy the situation you could add a little gel or pomade at the ends of your twists so that they don't unravel.

I was thinking that too, but wasnt really sure.
I also thought of it cuz the denman d3 just glides through my hair, and i never really get tangles. O_O

Is your hair fine? What/how much product do you use? I only ask because too much of anything is bad for my hair, since it is medium/high density but fine. My ends will get stick straight with too much product...

My hair is not fine, but not thick. Its wierd. It looks thick and feels kinda thin. Is that dense? I dont use a lot of product i dont think. Sometimes just condish, sumtimes just shea butter or some other oil.
